As a Horten partner, you are responsible for executing Horten's strategic goals both internally and externally. Based on your strong professional and acquisitive skills, you have a strong focus on client development and market activities.

Associate partner

To become an associate partner, you must have many years' experience as an attorney or associate. You are recognised for your high level of professionalism and have built up strong competences in your field. You have key client relations and make considerable personal efforts - both in relation to your clients and Horten’s operations and achievement of strategic goals.

Associate partner can be an end position, but you also have the opportunity to develop to equity partner over time.

Equity partner

To become an equity partner, you must have a high level of specialised knowledge, a solid experience base and strong acquisition skills. You are recognised within the business for your professional expertise and have an attractive client portfolio.

We focus on leadership

You are free to develop your business; of course, always taking into consideration the joint interests and development of Horten. While we have many partners, we remain a unified business, all working toward the same direction to ensure the best possible satisfaction among our clients and employees.

Horten's partners have considerable management responsibility at both an operational and strategic level. We focus on developing the leadership potential of all partners within business, case, staff and strategic management. The areas in which you particularly focus your management time largely depend on your interests and skills.

Our seven leadership principles guide the daily leadership behaviour that Horten partners aim for:

  • We think "one-firm firm"
  • We communicate clearly
  • We act in a businesslike manner
  • We show resilience
  • We are visionary
  • We create challenges
  • We evoke enthusiasm
