Experience and expertise within public-private partnerships

Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Public-Private Collaboration (PPC) are relatively new concepts in Denmark. Horten has advised on some of the first and largest PPP and PPC projects in Denmark; actually, we have contributed to establishing solid and profitable collaborations between public and private parties long before that. We have experience from small projects such as municipal food services and construction of buildings to large and more complex projects such as motorway constructions and development of new urban areas.

Our special strength is that we know the Danish public sector and the policy-making processes. At the same time, we have close relations with the Danish and international business community and the PPP market players, and we understand the strategic and corporate parameters helping companies to navigate.

Our team of experienced specialists are capable of focusing specifically at the parties' goals and needs. We are creative and bold in our solutions, and we dare to explore new approaches - without compromising on the law. We create the very best solutions because we have some of the most competent specialists in Denmark within the specific legal areas which are typically necessary for creating a solid and profitable PPP project.
