After more than 70 years as a reputable player in Danish architecture, Rørbæk og Møller has now become part of the leading global architecture and design firm Perkins&Will.
Rørbæk og Møller works with Danish public clients and has a strong portfolio of restoration and transformation projects, including the renovation of the Copenhagen University Library and the restoration of the National Bank of Denmark, while Schmidt Hammer Lassen (Perkins&Will in Denmark) has many years of experience with global projects. The acquisition is made with a long-term goal to continue to be leading within preservation-worthy architecture and transformation.
The former owners of Rørbæk og Møller, Anders Wesley Hansen and Nicolai Overgaard, have in connection with the acquisition joined the partner group in Perkins&Will. With an international team of more than 2,400 professionals, Perkins&Will has over 30 studios worldwide, providing integrated services in architecture, interior design, branded environments, urban design, and landscape architecture.
Horten advised the sellers in connection with the transaction. Horten's M&A team was led by partner Lise Lotte Hjerrild, assisted by attorney Christian Vesterling and assistant attorney Diana Bojaj.
