Horten served as legal advisor to renewable energy developer Ænergy P/S in the sale of a 70% ownership stake in Solcellepark Kroghøj P/S to Norwegian solar power company Endra AS, an affiliate of Haugaland Kraft AS.
Kroghøj is a large-scale solar plant which, following the implementation of a battery storage system, will become one of the most advanced plants in Denmark. This makes Kroghøj an important contribution to Denmark's ambition to increase solar and wind power production by 2030.
The transaction also involved Ænergy's sale of the remaining 30 percent ownership stake to KP Sol og Vind ApS and Jysk Energi Invest A/S, who will operate the solar plant in a joint venture with Endra going forward.
Horten’s team was headed by assistant attorney Amalie Neerup Larsen, attorney Christian Ulrich Zander Olsen, and partner Andreas Schønbeck.
