Horten has admitted Bo Christensen as Junior Partner and René Frisdahl Jensen as Partner.
Two new partners - René Frisdahl Jensen specialised in energy and supply law and Bo Christensen specialised in insolvency law and restructuring - will contribute to strengthening Horten’s brand and vision of being among the leading full-service law firms in Denmark.
Attorney René Frisdahl Jensen is specialised within energy and supply law and has more than 20 years' experience within the area. René has in-depth business insight and knowledge of the regulation across different supply sectors and advises Danish and international clients on regulatory issues, complex contracts and disputes and transactions with the energy and supply area. He also advises on renewable energy, green change-over and intelligent energy solutions.
René has previously been employed as a commercial and energy counsellor at the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the European Union in Brussels and as a special consultant at the Danish Energy Agency. He is highlighted in the international legal directory Legal 500 as a “Next generation partner”.
Attorney Bo Christensen is specialised in insolvency law and restructuring and advises companies and creditors in connection with restructuring and insolvency proceedings as well as general commercial and finance law.
Bo advises Danish and international clients on all aspects of insolvency law, turnaround, restructuring and non-performing loans and investments, for example refinancing, funding, creditor agreements, reorganisation and matters pertaining to company law and general commercial law. He also advises sound companies with a need to develop, adapt or scale their business through investments, credit-raising, acquisition or sale.
Bo is part of the international network INSOL Europe and the International Insolvency Institute’s NextGen Leadership programme and has wide experience in cases with an international element. He also plays an important role within his area of expertise in connection with Horten’s digital innovation projects.
Both partners joined Horten on 1 January 2020.
