Horten has advised Dansk Ejerkapital in connection with the acquisition of 49 % of the shares in the Danish consulting firm Viegand Maagøe A/S.
Viegand Maagøe was established in 2006 and advises on energy optimisation, green transition, sustainability and ESG to the Danish state, municipalities and an increasing number of enterprises in Denmark and abroad. The company has more than 50 employees.
Dansk Ejerkapital is one of the oldest private equity funds in Denmark with 27 years’ experience and more than 145 investments competed in small and medium-sized Danish enterprises.
In parallel with Dansk Ejerkapital’s investment, several leading employees in Viegand Maagøe have acquired shares in the company.
Horten has advised Dansk Ejerkapital on all legal aspects of the transaction. Horten’s team consisted of partner Frans Rossen and attorney Christian Tue Rasmussen.
