Horten has advised the shareholders on the sale of the total share capital in Hundested-Rørvig Færgefart A/S.
Effective from 1 February 2021, the privately owned Hundested-Rørvig Færgefart A/S was acquired by Samsø Linjen A/S, which is owned by Samsø-Fonden.
The ferry service across the Isefjord between Hundested and Rørvig started in 1917 and links North Zealand with Odsherred. The ferry service is one of the most used small ferry services in Denmark and contributes to creating a mobile connection between North Zealand and the large summerhouse and recreational area in Odsherred.
Horten has advised the seller about all legal aspects of the transaction. The Horten team consisted of partner Nicolai Dyhr and attorney Vibe Kongsager Klausen.
