The Dutch bank ABN Amros Energy Transition Fund has acquired 34 % of the shares in the Danish manufacturer of composites, Fiberline Composites.
Horten has assisted the management with the transaction and the investment together with ABN AMRO.
Fiberline is leading within wind turbine rotors, and for the last three decades, the company has been a pioneer within pultruded glass and carbon fibre components. A component which is becoming gradually more and more indispensable as the rotors become longer and more advanced.
The transaction must be approved by the German competition authorities, Bundeskartellamt.
Horten’s team has consisted of partner Thomas Francis Beckett, partner Henrik Stig Lauritsen and attorney Vibe Kongsager Klausen.
