Horten has assisted North Media A/S with the sale of the 152-year old daily newspaper Helsingør Dagblad and nine local newspapers in the Copenhagen area.
On 1 April 2020, North Media A/S announced that Helsingør Dagblad was for sale.
In a rapid procedure, Horten has assisted with the sale of the daily newspaper and the nine local newspapers, among others Østerbro Avis, Amagerbladet and Frederiksberg Bladet, to Jysk Fynske Medier P/S.
The agreement was signed on Monday 20 April 2020, and the transfer will take place on 1 May 2020.
