Horten has acted as exclusive legal advisor for Heraeus Comvance in connection with the acquisition of part of OFS Fitel Denmark ApS' plant in Brøndby for the manufacturing of standard optical telecommunication fibers.
Heraeus Comvance, recognized as one of the world's leading quartz glass manufacturers for fiber optics in telecommunication and specialty applications, has with the acquisition taken a significant step towards enhancing its European operations. Through this strategic acquisition, Heraeus Comvance solidifies its commitment to a localized value chain within the European Union.
Horten provided legal counsel to Heraeus Comvance throughout every phase of the transaction. This encompassed conducting due diligence, foreign direct investment screening, negotiation, and the finalization of transactional agreements.
