Horten has assisted EWII with the acquisition of the majority of the share capital in the Internet provider Kviknet.dk. ApS.
Since 2014, Kviknet has built up a major customer base by offering cheap and fast broadband to private households, housing associations and businesses. Kviknet supplies Internet to customers all over Denmark, and with this transaction, EWII’s coverage of the broadband market will thereby be national.
EWII is a Danish multi-supply group based in Kolding with divisions all over the country. EWII and its subsidiaries supply water and heat to customers in the Triangle Region and electricity and broadband to customers all over Denmark. Finally, EWII is an active participant in the development of technologies, solutions and systems to support green transition in the energy area.
Horten has advised EWII on all legal aspects of the transaction.
