Horten has assisted the City of Copenhagen with the largest tender procedure so far concerning cloud infrastructure in Denmark.
As the legal advisor of the City of Copenhagen, Horten has assisted with the preparation of the tender documents, the tender procedure and processor agreements.
As the first and largest player in the public sector, the City of Copenhagen invited tenders for a contract in 2019 concerning transition of the City's infrastructure to cloud. The contract involves all seven administrations and means that 250 IT systems must be transferred to cloud.
In July, after a well-conducted tender procedure, the City of Copenhagen appointed Atea with Microsoft as sub-supplier as the winners of the contract. The plan is that the City of Copenhagen will close its two physical data centres no later than 1 September 2021.
Horten has assisted with all legal aspects of the transaction.
