Renée van Naerssen

Renée van Naerssen is specialised within energy and supply law and has many years' experience in this area. She has in-depth knowledge of heat supply, remote cooling, waste management, the rules on local government mandate and administrative law.

Renée knows the energy authorities from the inside. She has previously been employed with the Danish Energy Agency and the Supply Regulatory Authority and has wide experience advising companies and authorities and on the legislative process, the pre-legislative work and the administrative complaints system. She has been the responsible lawyer for the regulation of the heat and remote cooling sector. She has also been project manager in connection with the implementation of the new financial regulation.

Renée advises energy companies, trade organisations and public authorities on the statutory framework for establishment or change-over of energy and supply plants, fixing of energy prices, the municipalities’ authority and legal questions.
