Line Markert advises companies, owners and authorities in closely regulated sectors, e.g. the energy and supply sector and the harbour sector. Line provides advice and sparring on regulatory, commercial and strategic affairs. She provides legal assistance and helps organise and manage processes, plan and lead negotiations, and ensure clarification with stakeholders and authorities, etc.
One of Line’s specialities is advising on complex projects, such as inter-municipal climate adaptation projects, public-private partnerships and restructuring of publicly owned companies.
Line recognises new opportunities, challenges and tasks for her clients and business partners, e.g. when companies need to adapt their business to future ESG requirements. Therefore, she is part of Horten’s cross-functional team that coordinates Horten’s ESG advice. Line always helps create the right framework for change to strengthen the client's business when the organisation is facing complex or extensive changes.
In addition, Line is responsible for Horten’s involvement in the Forum for Offentlige Bestyrelser (Forum for Public Boards), which focuses on strengthening good board work in public companies and other public organisations led by a board of directors.
