One of the most experienced insolvency lawyers in Denmark, Troels Tuxen, joins Horten today as a new partner and team leader of the Insolvency department at the headquarters in Hellerup.

For more than 20 years, I’ve advised clients of all sizes and industries from both Denmark and abroad in cases concerning bankruptcy, insolvency, reconstruction and disputes, and I hope it will constitute a good addition to the department's competence base and contribute to creating value for the clients. The insolvency department is gaining extensive experience
Troels Tuxen has served as a trustee in bankruptcies for both large and small companies and as an administrator in reconstruction proceedings, out-of-court suspension of payments procedures and creditor arrangements.
In addition, he has advised clients in different insolvency situations and on general commercial matters, e.g. company law issues, and acted as an advisor for boards of directors and management of distressed companies.
As a member of the board of companies, he has been part of the development of several successful businesses and later sale thereof. Being an experienced litigator, Troels has also conducted numerous court cases concerning insolvency and property law issues.
For more than 20 years, Troels has been a representative in international cooperations of law and accounting firms from all over the world, mainly in Northern Europe, through INSOL Europe and the informal network of Global Restructuring and Insolvency Professionals.
