Horten has assisted Better Energy with financing of the development and construction costs relating to five solar parks in Poland. Through the financing AP Pension is helping to facilitate the production of new and additional renewable energy in Poland.
Horten advised Better Energy in connection with Better Energy entering into a term loan facility agreement and other finance documents with AP Pension Livsforsikringsaktieselskab. The funds are being used to finance the cost of establishing five solar parks across Poland, with a combined annual production capacity of 237 MW. The solar parks are complete, with the majority grid-connected and producing clean energy for the Polish market. Horten's Banking & Financing team consisted of Lars Lüneborg and Helle Muff Højbjerg.
