Horten Advokatpartnerselskab has admitted specialist attorney Line Lundorff Brokholm as partner and senior attorney Jacob Pehrson as junior partner.
With 350 employees thereby being among the country's largest law firms, Horten is strengthening the partner group with the admission of two new partners, senior attorney Jacob Pehrson and specialist attorney Line Lundorff Brokholm, who are both experts in insolvency law.
Line Lundorff Brokholm is specialised in insolvency law and commercial law with special expertise in safeguarding creditor interests and conducting avoidance proceedings.
Line has wide experience administering bankruptcy estates and carrying out restructuring proceedings and refinancing and restructuring of insolvent enterprises. She has been responsible for the transfer of numerous distressed companies and has wide experience advising on employee matters in bankruptcy estates.
Line is often appointed trustee of bankruptcy estates and is also a member of the Danish Debt Collection Agency’s panel of lawyers.
She graduated from the University of Aarhus in 2007 and has been employed as an attorney with Horten since 2012.
Attorney Jacob Pehrson is the daily head of Horten’s Leasing & Financial Services team in Copenhagen. He advises professional lenders on the legal aspects of both independent loans and financing of chattels - including leasing and credit agreements. He also advises in connection with disputes and conducts litigation before the ordinary courts and the enforcement courts.
Jacob has wide experience conducting litigation within the area of credit and financing law, including major claims from financial institutions.
Furthermore, Jacob has for many years dealt with collection of public claims such as property taxes and claims from municipally owned utility companies.
He graduated from the University of Aarhus in 2011 and joined Horten as an attorney from Delacour in 2018.
The admission of both partners is effective from 1 January 2021.
