Two new partners at Horten

Søren Toft Bjerreskov is a company law specialist and advises on complex issues relating to i.a. self-financing, cross-border mergers, demergers and corporate governance. In addition, Søren has wide experience in contract drafting, including shareholders’ agreements, investment agreements and infrastructure agreements. Søren also advises on issues relating to securities law which are closely related to company law, including general meetings, duties of disclosure and internal rules for issuers.

Søren graduated as a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen in 2005 and as a Master of Laws from the University of Chicago Law School in 2010. Søren came to Horten in 2020 from a position as senior commercial counsel with Dupont Nutrition & Biosciences.

Søren Toft Bjerreskov was appointed partner on 1 July 2021.

Alessandro Traina has been working with real estate transactions for over 10 years focusing primarily on international clients. Alessandro’s international background and education has been a perfect match for international clients operating in Denmark.

The transactions have consisted of various property types, including high-street properties with office and or retail, to logistics portfolios, development projects and residential lease properties.
Due to Alessandro’s commercial perspective on all aspects of legal advice, his clients have experienced a high level of proactive commercial input to the development and optimization of assets, giving him the role of trusted advisor for various client’s day to day legal queries.

Furthermore, Alessandro has gained a high level of experience negotiating commercial leases, for both retail and office and enjoys his other expertise beyond real-estate as trusted advisor for professional athletes requiring legal advice during transfers to and from Italy.

Alessandro Traina joined Horten on 1 August 2021.
