Horten has admitted Jakob Krag Nielsen as partner.
Jakob Krag Nielsen is specialised in trademark and patent law, and he is to ensure that Horten continues to maintain its historic and recognised market position within IP and Tech. He comes from a position as head of Lundgrens’ Intellectual Property & Life Science department.
Jakob has more than 20 years’ special experience within the IP area and represents Danish and international clients in all industries and has a large network of international lawyers within the IP/Life Science area. In addition to litigation, Jakob has wide experience assisting everything from start-ups to major listed companies with commercialising IP rights and defining and implementing IP strategies. In addition, Jakob assists with handling IP in connection with transactions.
Jakob has a right of audience before the Supreme Court and is active in a number of fora within his areas of expertise, i.a. as Denmark’s representative at the CCBE’s Group on Patents (the CCBE represents European bars and law societies), coordinator at Danske Advokater’s IP and Life Science committee and co-founder and board member of the Danish Life Science Law Association.
