Anne Sophie Kierkegaard Vilsbøll is specialised within administrative law, public law and environmental law and advises on the interface between public and private regulation on issues relating to construction law, planning law, road law, etc.
Anne Sophie has wide experience advising municipalities on both issues under the Technical and Environmental Administration, but also on fundamental municipal and administrative issues, including preparation of legal opinions and investigations. She has advised on the municipalities’ consideration of permissions in relation to private persons’ right to use the municipality’s areas (the law pertaining to roads, parks and other municipal areas).
As regards the use of areas, Anne Sophie advises both public authorities, private persons and public and private companies. She advises on disputes in relation to special rights over real estate, e.g. easements, local plans, private roads, prescriptive rights and expropriation. Anne Sophie has a special interest in the so-called "neighbour principle", and she has conducted a number of leading cases within this area, both for supply companies and authorities.
In addition, Anne Sophie has many years’ experience advising on environmental issues concerning the environmental regulation of companies, soil contamination and protection of natural resources, and she is an experienced litigator and conducts cases for committees and commissions within her areas of expertise for both businesses and public clients.
