Just three months after its launch in Copenhagen, the Nordic region's largest car-sharing company Hyre has acquired its largest competitor, LetsGo. Horten has assisted Hyre with this transaction.

Horten has assisted Hyre with the acquisition of the competitor LetsGo. Hyre's ambition is to change Copenhagen's infrastructure in relation to the way we use cars and thereby contribute to creating a greener and more climate-friendly city. With the transaction, Hyre becomes the largest car-sharing operator in Denmark.

Hyre is the largest car-sharing company in the Nordic region with more than 2,000 cars in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Hyre's car-sharing vehicles have a fixed parking space, which means that the cars are picked up and dropped off at the reserved parking spot. The cars are reserved and unlocked via the Hyre app. Hyre was established in 2017 as a joint venture between Møller Mobility Group and Hyre Management.

Horten has assisted Hyre with all legal aspects of the transaction.

Horten’s team consisted of Thomas Francis Beckett,  Emil Spurr Madsen and Line Birk Halberg.
