Emilie Loiborg

Emilie Loiborg has extensive experience advising on issues relating to both administrative law, data protection law and data ethics, especially in a digital context, and on the interplay between the rules. Emilie Loiborg thus advises on the digitalisation of public administration in a broad sense; this applies to both advice to authorities and to suppliers to authorities. This may, for example, be compliance with administrative law rules and data protection law when implementing algorithms and AI in public administration, or the interaction between data protection law rules and public law rules when using synthetic data. 

Emilie Loiborg also has extensive experience advising on the exchange of information - and use of digital facilities - between authorities, digital self-service solutions, etc.

Emilie is an external lecturer at the University of Copenhagen where she teaches data protection law. Emilie also has experience teaching the course, ”Digital administration - legal aspects”.
In addition, Emilie has in-depth understanding of legal issues and practical handling of specific cases of access to information and access to documents.

She also has experience from politically managed organisations which she draws on when advising clients.
