The commercial activities in the Funen energy group, Nature Energy, have been sold to a consortium consisting of the financial investors Pioneer Point Partners and Davidson Kempner. This new ownership will bring new funds to the company so that it can realise its plan to build up to ten new biogas plants in Denmark. At the same time, the sale opens up for a Danish export adventure within the biogas industry.
A number of formal approvals are still pending, including one from the Competition and Consumer Authority, before the sale is completed.
