With effect from 1 January 2017, Horten appointed Lars Lüneborg and Julie Arnth Jørgensen as partners.

The two new partners - Lars Lüneborg with expertise within banking and finance and Julie Arnth Jørgensen with expertise within arbitration - will reinforce Horten's position as the leading full-service law firm.

Lars Lüneborg
is specialised in banking and finance and has wide international experience from many years with law firms in London - recently with Linklaters. He advises banks, private equity funds, debt funds and companies and has obtained wide commercial knowledge through his posting with Lehman Brothers in London.

Lars advises on a wide range of areas within banking and finance - primarily on national and international transactions involving syndicated loans, leveraged finance11, property finance, issuing of bonds, financial restructuring and general corporate finance. Further, Lars advises on a wide range of issues within financial regulation.

Lars joined Horten in 2014 and is part of Horten's Banking and Finance team. He graduated from the University of Copenhagen and is B. com. in business finance from the Copenhagen Business School.

Julie Arnth Jørgensen
is experienced and recognised within complex litigation and arbitration. She is also appointed arbitrator both in relation to institutional and ad hoc arbitration. During the past year, she has been a deputy judge at the Eastern High Court and was previously an associated partner at Bruun & Hjejle.

Julie is experienced in litigation on contractual and professional liability, directors', auditors' and attorneys' liability, M&A disputes, the Securities Trading Act and renegotiation clauses in long-term contracts.

She graduated from the University of Copenhagen and holds an LLM degree from New York University School of Law. She is also co-founder of Young Arbitrators Copenhagen.
