Every year, the international directory IFLR1000 publishes a guide of the world's best law firms within energy and infrastructure. In the recently published guide, Horten is, like last year, rated as one of the country's best advisers within this area.

Researchers from IFLR1000 have contacted more than 7,000 clients and cooperation partners all over the world asking them about their preferred legal adviser. Again this year, Horten is one of the leading advisers within energy and infrastructure.

In connection with the recent IFLR1000 rankings, Horten has obtained some impressive statements.

The CEO of a supply utility says: "They were important both from a legal perspective and from a process perspective”.

Another client adds: “Important advice was given to the team, the company and the owners. The lawyers are available at all times or return as quickly as possible. It is possible to talk about doubts and problems and you always get advice that brings you further to a solution. They are a full-scale firm and are good at using that in their counselling. They give good updates about new legislation and its consequences for the company. They often invite us to meetings, where valuable information is given”.

In addition to Horten's rating in Tier 1 within energy and infrastructure, several of our lawyers, both within this team as well as other teams, have been highlighted by IFLR1000.

The following have been highlighted as leading lawyers:
Søren Hornbæk Svendsen, Energy and infrastructure, Project development
Claus Bennetsen, Banking, PPP/PFI
Hans Christian Pape, Capital Markets, M&A
Lise Lotte Hjerrild, Capital Markets, M&A
Piya Murkherjee, Restructuring and insolvency

In addition, Line Markert (Energy and infrastructure, Project development) is emphasised as a Rising Star.
