On 6 October 2015, Horten participated in a major investor conference arranged by Dansk Industri and Greenland Business Association, the Arctic Cluster of Raw Materials.

The conference presented a number of mineral projects in Greenland, which have or are going to file applications for exploitation permissions, including a panel debate on investment scenarios and models.

The conference had major focus on the importance of infrastructure in relation to the development in Greenland.  Partner and attorney Rikke Søgaard from Horten participated in the panel debate together with Christian Motzfeldt, CEO, Vækstfonden, Martin Kviesgaard, CEO, Grønlandsbanken and Claus Lyngdal, Head of Alternative Investments, Pension Danmark.

The establishment of new co-operation constellations across the public and private sectors, industries or borders combining resources may be the way to create the basis of growth.  This was one of the reasons why Nuna Law Firm in Nuuk and Horten entered into a new, integrated co-operation last year.  The combination of Nuna Law Firm's expertise within the legal affairs of Greenland and the local presence and anchoring in Greenland and Horten's strong professional competencies within a number of special areas of expertise, including  PPP models, will provide a strong synergy in our advice.
