As the Managing Partner of Horten, Erik Wendelboe Christiansen will together with the management set out the future course of one of Denmark's largest law firms.
Erik Wendelboe Christiansen is known as a lawyer who is capable of reaching beyond his specific area of expertise and leading people in a joint direction. One of his most important tasks as Managing Partner will be to ensure Horten's strategic focus on a more cross-sectoral management and organisation. At the same time, he is to ensure increased visibility within the areas of expertise in which Horten holds a very strong position. Horten is specialised within sectors characterised by strict regulation or where technological development and innovative approaches are fundamental - such as energy and supply, life science and healthcare, IT, technology and media as well as the public sector.
The 44-year old lawyer is one of the country's leading experts within Scandinavian employment law and commercial advice. He is the author of three books on the subject, and when national unions and course providers like JSB in London provide supplementary education in this area, they all call Erik. As a litigator before the Supreme Court, Erik has conducted numerous central proceedings and provided advice in connection with a large number of private and public major reorganisation and outsourcing projects.
