Horten has assisted the Norwegian private equity fund Norvestor with the acquisition of the majority of the shares in the Danish IT consultancy firm Globeteam. Kirk Kapital and the company’s founders will continue in the company with minority shareholdings.

Globeteam offers services within and across three main areas: Business consulting, IT infrastructure and IT development and cyber and acts as a player within “GIG Economy” with highly specialised consultants.

The Norwegian private equity fund Norvestor typically invests in companies providing services, often where digitization or available technology can be utilized to make sustainable efficiency gains and create real value for clients and society. The investment in Globalteam is Norvestor’s first investment in Denmark.

Horten has advised Norvestor in connection with the transaction. Team-responsible partner Thomas Francis Beckett was assisted by attorney Vibe Kongsager Klausen and assistant attorney Ann-Sophie Birch.
