Mikala Berg Dueholm is specialised in procurement law in a wide sense and in this connection, she deals with contract law, IT law and construction law. She has wide experience as an advisor to public authorities (municipalities, regions and supply utilities) and private tenderers concerning the national and EU procurement rules.

Within procurement law, Mikala's expertise ranges from the selection of tender procedure, conducting the tender procedure, contract drafting, sparring on incentive mechanisms, the right to make subsequent amendments to procurement contracts, access to documents, dispute resolution and complaints concerning tender procedures.

Within contract law, Mikala has wide experience within contract drafting, negotiation and interpretation, and she has special knowledge within supply, public transportation, soil contamination and raw materials, IT and construction.

In addition, Mikala has wide experience with tender procedures concerning complex services, including strategic partnerships within construction, IT contracts, building and construction contracts and development contracts, and she has also carried out tender procedures in connection with complicated tenders (negotiated procedures, design contests and competitive dialogue).

Further, Mikala has conducted a number of cases concerning the procurement rules before the Complaints Board for Public Procurement and the courts on behalf of both the contracting entities and the tenderers, and she holds a right of audience before the Danish high courts.

Mikala is an experienced lecturer within procurement law and for a number of years, she has been an external lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark.
