Daniel Haue Jakobsson specializes in complex commercial litigation and arbitration and is part of Horten's Commercial Disputes & Arbitration practice group, where he resolves and conducts major commercial disputes, particularly in the form of litigation and arbitration cases (both domestic and international). He also has an extensive knowledge of international private law (conflict of laws) and procedural law.
As part of Horten's Insurance & Liability sector team, Daniel delivers specialized advice on a number of cases within insurance and tort law that notably concern general commercial liability, contractual liability and product liability, financial sector disputes, M&A disputes, professional liability of advisors, directors' and officers' liability, and liability within construction. Additionally, he advises on general commercial law, including drafting of all forms of commercial contracts.
Daniel has extensive experience in advising larger international and global companies, and in addition to being admitted to the Danish Bar, he has obtained an LL.M. in International Business Regulation, Litigation & Arbitration from New York University, which has given him a strong international network and international approach in his practice.
Daniel has previously been posted with CSC Denmark and has been teaching EU law at the University of Copenhagen.
