On the International Data Protection Day, the world-wide law firm DLA Piper launches a handbook on data protection laws, covering 72 jurisdictions. Horten has contributed with the Danish rules.
The handbook gives a quick overview of the data protection rules, that have the most practical significance, including:
- International data transfer restrictions
- Security obligations when processing personal information
- Electronic marketing and
- Online privacy, including cookies and location data.
The handbook offers the ability to compare the laws of the 72 jurisdictions topic by topic or just an overview for each relevant jurisdiction – either online or as download.
If you have any questions for the handbook or data protection rules in general, please contact attorney Egil Husum or partner Anders Valentiner-Branth.
