The Danish Tax Commission begins questioning witnesses

On 28 August 2012, the Danish Tax Commission will begin questioning a total of 43 witnesses. The commission has been set up to resolve to which extent confidential information has been leaked from Helle Thorning-Schmidt's and Stephen Kinnock's tax case, and whether anybody outside the Copenhagen tax authority has attempted to influence the decision. Attorneys Nicolai Mallet and Jakob S. Arrevad, Horten, have taken on the assignment as legal assistants for former Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, his press adviser Mikael Børsting and former Minister of Tax Peter Christensen. The assignment will extend into 2013.
